Hi December! I'm so glad you are here and going easy on our little family. We've found a gentle rhythm over the last two weeks and have settled in nicely with you.
While we don't have out tree up yet, we've been celebrating all month. The littlest's birthday was a few days ago and I do declare how nice it is to start a month off with a birthday to celebrate. He enjoyed a chocolate cake and handmade cards from his sisters. He blew out his solo candle. One. So tiny still, yet so much bigger and able than a year ago.
Both a mild but contagious illness and car troubles have kept us home for the last week. I'm really not complaining. We've been doing our own little festivities at home every day like reading and watching Christmas stories, making origami Christmas trees, decorating the house, and drinking from snowmen.
